The Book
The telling of mythic stories has always been a powerful form of therapy, bringing healing to people facing adversity. The greatness of Saturn is such a therapeutic myth, told and retold through many centuries. Taken from the East Indian Vedic tradition, it honors the planet Saturn, who personifies time, limitations, loss, and all forms of adversity.

Composed by Dr. Robert Svoboda, the first Westerner to earn status as an Ayurvedic Vaidya trained in India, this is a timeless tale tracking the rise, fall and redemption of a King. It is a story of dignity, perseverance and ultimate wisdom.

This is a powerful, therapeutic myth (re)told here in splendid, poetic language rich with with evocative imagery and illuminating metaphor.

The book is divided into three sections: an introductory chapter setting the context, giving a zoomed out view of the story, its origins and function; the central chapters consists of the story itself; and the final section offers remedies and reflections on how to integrate this wisdom into your daily life.

If you've ever heard about or been through the famous "Saturn return" period of your late 20's, early 30's, this book is big medicine.
